Crimean Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra Taurica. The land of gods and the dream of poets. Yalta — the very same Gialos, discovered by the Argonauts. Today, it is the resort capital of Crimea. Here, a kilometer away from the coastline, on the premises of the Kirov Holiday Center, not only can you enjoy the quiet and a breath of fresh air from the sea, but glance behind the curtains of the concert hall where the collective of the Crimea Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra are working on their repertoire.

HISTORY

The Crimean State Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1937, legislated by the City Council of Yalta. Ever since, the world of concert performance has been growing rapidly, influenced by many greatly talented contemporaries, such as Alexander Vertinsky, Claudia Shulzhenko and Lidia Ruslanova.

Today, the orchestra is one of the best artistic collectives in Ukraine, touring in Belorussia, Moldavia, Lithuania, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, as well as in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other major Russian cities; also in Ukraine — in the capital city of Kiev, and in major regional capitals.
